August 3, 2009 3 pm - 7 pm | Design Charrette for 30th Street Project | In response to concerns expressed about the underpass portion of this project and the removal of mature trees in that area, the city has decided to hold a design charrette with property owners and tenants from 3 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 3, 2009 at the Twenty Ninth Street Community Room. The design charrette is open to the public, but pre-registration is requested by 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 30 for those planning to attend. The event will begin with a walk of the project site from 3 to 4 p.m., followed by the charrette from 4 to 7 p.m. Meeting attendees must be present at a 4 p.m. introductory presentation in order to participate in the design work session.
